CLUB HISTORY AND SESSION TIMES AND FEES
CLUB
HISTORY
Aire
Trampoline Club was formed in July 2003 by Dexter Millen, Naomi
McKay and Sheila McManus.
We wanted to start a club where
children were warmed up correctly prior to going on the trampolines,
were then taught by British Gymnastic qualified coaches and each
session finishing with a cool down period. Making it a
complete "safe and child friendly session".
The Club is affiliated to British Gymnastics, so have adopted their Child
Protection and Equal Opportunities Policies. All our coaches
are British Gymnastics qualified, have Child Protection training and
are First Aid trained.
After successfully obtaining grants
the Club started at Swadelands School in Lenham in April 2004.
In January 2007 the Club relocated to the Abbey School in
Faversham where we expanded to operate over 2 evenings and Saturday
mornings.
The Club has further expanded and gone from
strength to strength and we are now privileged to be able to offer
safe, quality trampoline coaching to you in the City of Canterbury.
Aire Trampoline Club was awarded The British Gymnastics 'Gym
Mark' accreditation in October 2007. 'Gym Mark' is the
National Governing Body's stamp of quality assurance.
We pride ourselves on our standard of coaching and how
much enjoyment our members get when they come to the sessions.

Session and Membership
Fees
One hour sessions are £4.00 per
session. One and a quarter hour sessions are £4.25 per
session.
We are governed by the National Governing Body,
being British Gymnastics (BG). Each member of the club will
have to join BG. Their membership runs from 1st October
through to the 30th September. The 2009/10 membership fee for
BG is £15.00. This amount will need to be paid on the
third week of attending the club. There are a number of benefits
that the member will receive being a BG member, the most important
of these is their personal injury insurance.
There is also a small membership fee to join the
club. This fee is £10.00 and also runs from the 1st October
through to the 30th September. The gymnast will get a t-shirt
with the club's logo embroidered on it included in this
fee. The club membership fee is due in the second month that the gymnast attends.
